Ed has successfully accessed and penetrated a variety of markets, established relationships with Fortune 500 targets and worked with cross functional development teams to create and bring new offerings to the market. His efforts and results include:
- Developed relationships with Pfizer, GSK and Schering Plough for the evaluation of an early stage nanotechnology platform for the separation and purification of chiral isomers.
- Developed relationships with Boston Scientific for the evaluation of alternative methods for field stocking of coronary stents.
- Assessed markets for a new high performance material technology and closed new business with Waters Corporation and Agilent Technologies
- Developed relationships and closed new business with Pirelli and Corning for a new UV system that alleviated a bottle neck in the production of optical fiber
- Developed relationships and initiated pilot test programs with GM, BMW, VW, Conoco Philips and Exxon Mobile for the use of nanomaterials in thermal management applications.
- Developed relationships with Boeing, AirBus, Continental Airlines, American Airlines and the FAA to gain citation in a new FAA AD for the use of fluoropolymer composite based films for thermal acoustic insulation.
