High Performance Materials

From his first position as a polymer development assistant, and on through roles as the Market Development Manager at what was once Chemfab (now Saint-Gobain); Marketing Manager at Aspen Aerogels; and Business Development at Energy Sciences, Ed has a broad range of experiences with high performance materials and related markets.

This includes the use of fluoropolymers, fluoroelastomers and fluropolymer composites in severe service environments in bioanalytical instrumentation, automotive and aerospace applications, as well as semiconductor and petrochemical processing. He has successfully assessed and penetrated new markets for these technologies.

In addition to fluropolymers, Ed has also worked with nanomaterials and thermal insulating applications in the automotive and petrochemical arenas while working as the Marketing Manager at Aspen Aerogels. He also developed relationships in other industrial markets such as cooling and refrigeration.

Ed also has expertise with inks, coatings and adhesives.
